Purity of Blood by Arturo Perez-Reverte

Saved from a book treehouse, this story's cover and title are what grabbed me at first. I am glad I saved it, but I do not think I will get into the story. I am sure it is a good, no, a great story but I think this adventure ship has sailed for me. (second in a series.)
